TAL AMITAI-LAVI

"Homeline" is a site-specific installation by Tal Amitai-Lavi & Tal Frank composed of three domestic elements created out of unexpected, weightless materials, including projection and thousands of thin, transparent nylon strings: a window, a projected carpet, and a curtain, illuminated with beams of light to create an illusion of motion. These objects create an illusionistic, dreamlike environment.
Viewers are confronted by their perception and senses, entering a world whose foundations are fragile, in which life-sized architectural structures have lost their functionality and expected physicality.
